1 HOUR CONDITIONING WITH BALLS AND BANDS

This class is fun and different; no mat needed. Based in imagery, it’s whole body movement with bands and balls, incorporating an understanding of biomechanics and dynamic alignment, improving strength, flexibility, and coordination. The class can be tailored for either restoration and relaxation, or a solid workout and conditioning. Either way, students leave feeling energized yet relaxed, aligned and lifted with a sense of effortlessness.

 
 

1 HOUR FRANKLIN METHOD BASICS

This basics class is great to offer on a weekly basis. In each class we look at the design and function of a specific body part, using imagery, movement and touch to take that new understanding and improve our ability to move. We then apply this to some movement exercises typically using a 9ft elastic Theraband and rubber Franklin Method balls, and look at ways to incorporate and readily apply this new understanding in everyday life. Over time, students become familiar with a broad range of topics including the muscles and bone rhythms of the shoulders, pelvis, feet, knees, spine, as well as organs.


 
 

3 HOUR WORKSHOPS

Workshops are a perfect way to get acquainted with the Franklin Method as well as review previous experiences of embodiment. Since we can only take in so much at any one time,  you will hear the information in a new way each time and deepen your embodiment making these a great way to get a firm grasp on FM principles.

Each workshop includes an intro to mind/body and exercises with balls and/or bands, and can be set up singularly or as a series.

WEEKEND IMMERSIONS

Immerse yourself in the feel good world of embodied functional anatomy for one or two full days. This class gives ample time to cover a broad range of topics as well as spend time on the fundamentals of using imagery and its applications to everyday life to improve general well-being and presence. Attendees leave with an empowered sense of coming home to their bodies and knowledge to create real, lasting change in their lives.

 
 

Private sessions are completely tailored to you. One on one attention that is not available in a group setting allows you to take your movement practice to the next level - whether you're a yogi, dancer, martial artist, etc.  This is a great opportunity to focus on you and all aspects of your physicality.
